We proudly present a Gender Equality and YRI (Young Researchers and Innovators) Careers Panel event organized by LUCES COST Action. The event is chaired by Dr. Hannah Crory , and the panel includes Dr. Estefania Delgado-Pinar, Dr. Ariadna Lázaro Palacios, Dr. José Manuel Marín Beloqui, and Professor Sophia Hayes.

Key initiatives for LUCES COST Action’s Gender Equality Plan include:

• Organizing events to celebrate internationally recognized equality-focused days.
• Hosting panel discussions and training sessions for mentorship, guidance, and career development.
• Regular committee meetings to assess progress and refine their approach.

The event includes activities like highlighting the work of minority groups, providing mentorship for ECRs (Early Career Researchers), and publicly disseminating information about the gender balance within the COST Action. The event itself is funded by the European Union.
