From Vienna Airport to Brno

The simplest way is by direct bus. Several companies operate frequent connections from the airport directly to Brno city center:

• RegioJet
• FlixBus

Travel time is typically 2–2.5 hours. Buses usually stop at:

• Hotel Grand Brno bus terminal nearby

You can also travel by train, but this normally requires transfer from the airport to central Vienna first, making it less convenient than the direct bus.

From Prague Airport to Brno

There is no direct train from the airport, so travelers usually choose one of these options:

Option 1 — Direct bus (easiest)

• RegioJet
• FlixBus

Direct buses run from the airport or nearby Prague bus terminals to Brno. Travel time is usually 2.5–3.5 hours depending on traffic.

Option 2 — Airport → Prague center → train

• Take the Airport Express bus or taxi into central Prague.
• Continue by train from Praha hlavní nádraží
• Travel to Brno hlavní nádraží

Train travel from Prague to Brno takes about 2.5 hours.

Practical advice

• Vienna Airport is geographically closer to Brno and usually provides the smoothest transfer.
• Booking tickets online in advance is recommended, especially in summer and around holidays.
• Both RegioJet and FlixBus offer Wi-Fi, charging sockets, and reserved seating on most routes.

In the city, you can walk about 20 minutes from main stops at Hotel Grand and Hlavní nádraží.

Use public transport to get to Hotel Continental. From the international bus station Hotel Grand walk 300 m to the station Hlavní nádraží. Then turn into tram number 1 (direction Řečkovice) and get out on the stop Moravské náměstí (4 min ride) which is close to Hotel Continental.
